I made a very special birthday cake a few weeks ago - this one is for someone near and dear to my heart...my own darling Liam! I can't believe my baby is one already! I always knew that I was going to make his first birthday cake (or every birthday cake for that matter =P) and I had been planning it for weeks, but I still can't help being a little nostalgic when I was making it. It seems like he turned one overnight! One minute he is this tiny little bundle in my arms and with the blink of an eye he is moving around non-stop causing a ruckus wherever he goes!
We had a Sesame-Street-themed party for him so I made a Cookie Monster cake. Cookie Monster for my little Monster =P
